Roof calculator data

Our roof calculator uses Google’s Solar API and satellite imagery to estimate gutter linear footage and cost for a given address. When you use the calculator:

• We save the address you enter, the resulting roof measurements, and the estimate in our database, even if you do not submit the lead form afterward. We also log your IP address and browser user agent for security and abuse prevention.
• We may use these saved estimates to follow up by direct mail (a physical postcard or letter) to the property address, offering our services. We do not call, text, or email you based on calculator data alone — only if you separately provide those details.
• If you do not want us to contact you, email info@foxgutters.com with the address in question and we will remove it from our follow-up list.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, we collect standard server logs (IP address, user agent, pages visited, timestamps) for security, debugging, and analytics. We use Google Analytics and similar tools. These do not identify you personally unless combined with information you submit through a form.

How we share information

We do not sell your information. We share it only with:

• Service providers we use to operate the site (hosting, email delivery, analytics, database)
• Government agencies if required by law
• Subcontractors or suppliers when necessary to complete work you have requested
